What I like about this one is that there are two separate areas to keep pills; so you can separate them if you have pills which you’re cutting that look similar and store them in different spots. I would get this one again. The downside is that it can tend to lock up on you when you’re just trying to cut a pill—it sort of locks and you have to open it back up.

The pill cutters with hard plastic arms always eventually break so I only buy the ones with the rubber arms now. I have this one and the Ezy Doze Safety Shield one now and the rubber arms in this one somehow seem less malleable than the Safety Shield one, meaning the other make, though looking really similar internally, does seem to hold the tablets in place better. Having said that, this one still holds tablets much easier than any with hard plastic arms and the arms won't break like those so a good option over those any day.

Upgraded after cutting finger on a non-locking version. Quality is great. Precision/positioning is difficult but I haven't found a better model. Size is normal. Packaging is normal. Value is good. Pretty basic, but effective item. Helps my elderly parents too so got one for them as well.
